KORONADAL CITY -- San Miguel Beermen today doused cold water to hot Barangay Ginebra Kings in Game 3 of the 2017 best of seven finals series 99-88.

Point guard Chris Ross led the Beermen but June Mar Fajardo was proclaimed player of the game.

The Gin Kings started strong, hitting baskets from the perimeter with the rookies and sophomores contributing much.   But the Beermen regrouped and remained composed until the last buzzer.

In fact, Ross nailed a trey just as the buzzer ended.
It was a late rally for SMB and posted a 2-1 lead of the series.

Ross, who scored 24 points, Alex Cabanot, Marcio Lassiter and Fajardo unleashed a 17-2 run that turned the tide in favor of SMB.
