Gilas Pilipinas' medal hopes doomed after bowing to Lithuania.

Lithuania All-Star defeated Gilas Pilipinas, 91-80 on Friday at the Taipei Heping Basketball Gymnasium on Day 7 of the 2017 William Jones Cup. 

The smaller, younger Gilas have no match against taller and bigger Lithuanians.

Although Gilas took the first quarter 17-22, the Lithuanians dominated the game the rest of the way, dooming chances of Gilas Pilipinas in the medal hunt.

The Gilas made 7/22 3pt-field goal, 20/38 2-point-field goal, 19/27 Free throws, 16 Turnovers, 22 Rebounds, 8 Assist and 14 Steals.
