Gunmen kill Pikit militiaman, farmer
PIKIT, North Cotabato, gunmen also shot dead a member of the Civilian Armed Forces Geographical Unit (CAFGU) in Sitio Valencia, Barangay Bualan, Pikit, North Cotabato at 8 p.m. Friday. Police Inspector Arvin John Cambang, deputy chief of Pikit PNP, identified the victim as Rodolfo Malagia of Aleosan, North Cotabato and belonged to 38th Infantry Battalion para-military unit. Police said Malagia was heading to his farm lot when two men on motorbike opened fire on him. He died on the spot. Hours later, gunmen also executed Utin Abdul Kadang, a farmer in Pikit. Kadang was driving his motorbike going to the town center when two men on board separate motorcycle opened fire on him from behind.
