Magnitude 3.6 quake hits Bagumbayan, SK

BAGUMBAYAN, Sultan Kudarat -- A magnitude 3.6 earthquake hit this town Saturday morning, the state volcanology office today said.

In a bulletin, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), reported that that tremor, tectonic in origin, occurred at 11:36 a.m. and was traced 14 kilometers east of Bagumbayan town.

It has a depth of 6 kilometers.

No casualty or damages to properties were reported.

Intensity IV was felt in Bagumbayan, Sultan Kudarat, Intensity III in Sto Nino and Koronadal City, South Cotabato and Intensity II in Laker Sebu, South Cotabato.
