More than 50 aftershocks follow magnitude 5.9 quake in Bukidnon

COTABATO CITY -- At least 50 aftershocks were recorded by Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology after the magnitude 5.9 quake that rocked Bukidnon province Monday night.

The latest aftershock came at 6:30 a.m. measured at magnitude 1.3.

Phivolcs records show the strongest aftershock was a magnitude 3.8 that came at 9:56 or about 30 minutes after the major quake struck.

Damages were reported were reported, including the one at the Sangguniang Bayan session hall.  Photo shown in this article.
