More than 50 aftershocks follow magnitude 5.9 quake in Bukidnon

COTABATO CITY -- At least 50 aftershocks were recorded by Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology after the magnitude 5.9 quake that rocked Bukidnon province Monday night.
The latest aftershock came at 6:30 a.m. measured at magnitude 1.3.
Phivolcs records show the strongest aftershock was a magnitude 3.8 that came at 9:56 or about 30 minutes after the major quake struck.
Damages were reported were reported, including the one at the Sangguniang Bayan session hall. Photo shown in this article.
The barangay hall of Camp 1, Maramag, Bukidnon, about an hour drive from Kadingilan, had cracks on its walls and ceiling as shown in the photo gallery.
