KIDAPAWAN CITY -- A man facing multiple count of rape charges and No. 1 most wanted man of Arakan, North Cotabato was arrested in Kidapawan City Monday, the Kidapawan City police office said.

Joint tracker team members from Kidapawan City PNP, ARakan Municipal Police office and Criminal Investigation and Detection Group arrested Judiel Naso-Naso, 35 and resident of Barangay Meocan, Arakan. 

He was arresdted in Barangay Kalasuyan, Kidapawan City.

Naso-Naso did not resist arrest when lawmen presented him a warrant of arrest issued by Judge Henelinda Molina-Diaz of REgional Trial Court Branch 17 Kidapawan City.

KORONADAL CITY -- Two transient on board a motorbike men from Banga, South Cotabato had a stop over at roadside bakery at past 12 midnight to warm themselves with coffee.

While Jero Perez, 23, and Ervin Didal, 27, both of Barangay Kabudian, Banga town were in the middle of their snacks, two men, one of whom was armed with a machete, arrived.

For still unknown reasons, one of them attack Perez with a machete, hitting him in the head.

The suspects quickly fled. Didal rushed his buddy to South Cotabato provicnial hospital.

KORONADAL CITY - Despite massive crackdown on illegal public transport operating in this city, drivers and owners of pedicabs with markings as "private" continue to haul passengers at night.

During recent crackdown, 51 pedicabs have been impounded and its drivers and operators were penalized.

The city traffic unit found out that most of the drivers have no license to drive, others have expired motor registration papers and many have no permit to operate as public conveyance.

Beside, the so called colorum tricycles, are often used in committing crimes.
