KORONADAL CITY - A farmer in a remote village here was cutting the bushes near his home when he found what looked like a tarsier (world's smallest monkey common in Bohol).

Rolan Palma of Lutayan, Sultan Kudarat, Koronadal City found the endangered specie on Sunday.

"I was to cut a branch of a tree when I saw a small creature clinging to his life," Palma told Radyo Bida Koronadal.

The tarsier leaped and landed on the ground where it was chased by a cat.  Palma came to tarsier's rescue.

He brought the tarsier home and alerted Radyo Bida because he would like to turn it over to the Department of Environment and Matural Resources.
