WEATHER TODAY | Easterlies is still affecting the eastern section of the country. Meanwhile, the Northeast Monsoon is back and it is affecting the extreme Northern Luzon. In the next hours, cloudy skies with moderate to occasionally heavy rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over regions of Caraga, Davao, and Northern Mindanao. Residents are advised to take precautionary measures against flash floods and landslides. Light to moderate rains and isolated thunderstorms is expected over the province of Eastern Visayas and the rest of Mindnanao.Cloudy skies with light rains will be experienced over the province of Batanes and Babuyan Group of Islands. Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rainshowers or thunderstorms.Residents are alerted against heavy rains that may trigger flash floods and landslides in low-lying areas.
