PDEA-12 arrest Sultan Kudarat fire officer selling shabu

KORONADAL CITY - When there's no fire, fire officers are supposed to undergo regular exercises that will make them physically and mentally fit for fire fighting operations.But anti-narcotics agents founda fire officer assigned in Columbio, Sultan Kudarat had other things in mind - earning a living the wrong way.Elements ofPhilippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) in Region 12 arrested Fire Officer 2 Crisber Ganao for selling shabu worth P500 to a poseur buyer over the weekend.PDEA 12 Regional Director Lyndon Aspacio told reporters Ganao was arrested in Purok Cawa, Barangay Dadiangas following a buy bust operation. It was carried out after PDEA received a tip from a confidential informant.Ganao vehemently denied the allegations, telling reporters he was a good man and never engaged in illegal activities like drug pushing.The fire officer is facing charges for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
