2 wanted men arrested in North Cotabato town

KIDAPAWAN CITY - After evading arrest for two years, a man wanted for violations of Republic Act 9165 fell to law enforcers'hands while selling corn products at public market ofMatalam, North CotabatoThursday.Also in the same market place, a man wanted for frustrated homicidewas arrested by Matalam police officers.Lucio Alicanti Mahinay, 53, appeared surprised but did not resist arrest when lawmen presented him a warrant of arrest issued by a local court in Kabacan, North Cotabato.Mahinay was Matalam's No. 3 most wanted man.Hours earlier, police also arrested 46-year-old Arcel Manlangit, a resident of Barangay Lampayan for frustrated homicide.Both were arrested based on warrants of arrest issued byJudge Laureano Alzate of Regional Trial CourtBranch 22.But Manlangit posted bail and went home.
