Tacurong City's EGGducation graduates
TACURONG CITY - For

had that same routine until she decided to join the LGU Nutrition EGGducation
course upon the invitation of her fellow members in the Balut Vendors SEA-K
Association.

Every
Tuesday, from May 26 to June 30, Susan and fifty-one more members of the
Association attended EGGducation classes at the Tacurong CDRRMC. The City
Social Welfare and Development Office facilitated the course hoping to raise
awareness on the health benefits of eggs.
Eggs
are the cheapest source of high quality protein. Through this course, we intend
to make our balut vendors understand the value of their product, not just for
their livelihood but to the health of their family,” said Nutrition Office
Lorna Pama.
During
the closing ceremonies of Nutrition EGGducation on July 7, Mayor Lina O.
Montilla and Councilor Rodrigo Jamorabon thanked the Association for their
active participation.

Balut
Vendors SEA-K Association will soon receive Nego Karts worth P749,000 From
