Barangay chairman sa Lebak, Sultan Kudarat patay sa pamamaril

LEBAK, Sultan Kudarat – Patay ang barangay kapitan ng Barangay Basak matapos na ito ay pagbabarilin pasado alas 5 ng hapon ngayong araw sa tapat ng tindahan nito.

Sinabi ni Lebak municipal police station chief Lt. Colonel Julius Malcontento na si Barangay Basak chairman Rogelio Talagtag Jr, 53 taog gulang, ay nasawi on the spot dahil sa tama sa ulo at katawan.

Ayon kay Malcontento, nakatayo sa harap ng kanyang tindahan si chairman Talagtag sa Purok Beverly Hills, Barangay Basak nang pagbabarilin ng isang lalaki gamit ang cal .45 pistol.

Matapos ito ang suspect ay tumakas sakay ng motorsiklo na Bajaj na minamaneho ng kanyang kasama. 

Narecover ng mga police ang walong empty shell at isang slug ng caliber 45 pistol sa crime scene.

Sinabi ni Malcotento na inaalam pa ang motibo ng pamamaril at kung sino ang may gawa nito.

Ang Barangay Basak ay upland barangay at crossroads patungong Sen. Ninoy Aquino sa Sultan Kudarat at at South Upi sa Maguindanao.
