BKAG ready to disperse 100k seedlings for free

COTABATO CITY – The Balik-Kalikasan Advocacy Group (BKAG) is now ready to distribute about 100,000 seedlings to be planted in Maguindanao as it intensified its campaign for environmental preservation.
In a statement, BKAG said the seedlings will be made available for those who are interested to join the greening campaign in their respective communities.
BKAG said the tree planting materials, composed of Antipolo and Talipao seedlings are housed at the BKAG nursery in Barangay Gang, Simuay, Sultan Kudarat, Maguindanao.
The seedlings were part of the half-million baby trees” that BKAG grow and nurtured at the Minrico nursery compound as part of its propagation project.
The environment group also distributed imported books for school children in Barira and Matanog with the soldiers doing the job of bringing the books right at the door of public schools.
BKAG is an association of environmentalist groups, government and non government organizations, media and volunteers with the objecting of bringing back the denuded forests of Central Mindanao for the sake of future generation.
