Dead man in a sack found in Maguindanao highway

COTABATO CITY -- A man believed to have been killed somewhere was dumped in a vacant lot in Barangay Upper Taviran, Datu Odin Sinsuat (DOS), Maguindanao Sunday,police said today.Senior Insp. Lindsay Sinsuat, DOS town police chief, said the man remained unidentified. It has no identification cards.Residents found the remains put inside a sack and left at the roadside by unidentified men on board a vehicle at past 2 a.m.The vehicle quickly sped away after the sack was dropped, Sinsuat quoted residents.It has a rope tied on his neck, Sinsuat said of the cadaver now in the custody of a funeral parlor in the city.
