Gunman ends dreams of 15 year old boy in Parang town

PARANG, Maguindanao - A Grade 9 pupil here was shot dead Tuesday afternoonby unidentified gunmen in what police and victim's relatives believed was an off shot of long standing family feud.Chief Sr. Insp. Arnold Allan Bulusan, identified the victim as Mocser Macapeges of the Macapeges clan and student of Notre Dame of Parang.Bulusan said the victim was shot by motorcycle riding men just outside the school compound at past 12 noon. He sustained a gunshot wound in the head from 9mm pistol and died instantly.The slain student was laid to his final resting place at past 5 p.m. yesterday.Parang Councilor Misuari Macapeges condemned the attack and blamed the family's archrival in the murder.He said the family knew the perpetrators and expressed sadness that a minor became collateral damage. He said Mocser has dreamed for a united clan.Macapeges said the family is open to reconciliation with a rival clan who he did not identify.He was praying the rido (clan war) will stop so vendetta killings will cease.
