Garcia issued the
warning and reminder to parishioners after receiving reports that some
individuals and groups have been roaming around the diocese asking for
donations.
Reports reaching DXND Radyo Bida Kidapawan said the unidentified persons were soliciting cash and in
kind” for the upcoming ordination of a deacon to become priest.

upcoming ordination activities,” he said in Filipino. We, the diocesan priests, are sad
there are individuals and groups using the name of the Church for illegal acts,”
