Kidapawan exec warns gold hunters, miners

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Mayor Joseph Evangelista today reiterated his stance against all forms of mining in the city.He said the full force of the law will be applied against those who will attempt to mine and gold hunting in the city's 40 villages.Evangelista has received reports that alleged gold hunters are digging in some private lands in the city.He stressed a total mining ban exists in North Cotabato.Evangelista, speaking over DXND Radyo Bida, suggested thatinstead of digging and gold hunting these people should work hard legally so as not to endanger others.
