Kidapawan PRC satellite office to increase business hours
KIDAPAWAN CITY - Because the satellite office ofProfessional Regulation Commission in Kidapawan City has been serving its people well, the city government is mulling additional service days. Two more days so it can accommodate more clients, said Mayor Joseph Evangelista of PRC services in Kidapawan City, serving not only clients from the city but those from nearby provinces and cities.For almost a year now, the PRC satellite office is only open for two days a monthEvangelista said his request has been officially forwarded to PRC-Manila hoping for favorable response. Once approved, the PRC will be opened once a way or four times a month, Evangelista said, adding it will expedite processing of licenses of professionals like teachers, doctors, engineers, among others.Elated by its outcome, Evangelista is working for the establishment of satellite offices for National Bureau of Investigation, Overseas Workers Welfare Administration and Department of Foreign Affairs.Aside from helping the professionals, Evangelista the satellite offices in the city also helps, on one way or another, in the economy of Kidapawan and its tourism destinations.
