Lando slows down
Lando has slowed down while moving towards Isabela-Aurora area. PAGASA weather forecaster Samuel Duran said, the High Pressure Area (HPA) in the west Philippine Sea is blocking Lando. With this effect, Lando has no definite date of leaving Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR).As of 4and00 AM, the center of typhoon Lando was located at 335 kms east of Baler, Aurora with maximum winds of 150 kph and gustiness of about 185 kph moving west at 12 kph.The forecast track of PAGASA and other meteorological agencies suggests that Lando is expected to make landfall over Isabela-Aurora area tonight or tomorrow morning and will move northward after its landfall activity. Weather TodayandStormy weather will be experiemce over Ilocos Region, Cagayan Valley, Cordillera and over the provinces of Aurora, Nueva Ecija, and Polillo Islands.Metro Manila, Bicol Region and the rest of Central Luzon and CALABARZON will have rains and gusty winds , while Visayas and the rest of Luzon will have cloudy sky with light to moderate rain showers. Generally good weather will prevail in Mindanao.
