NAGPAPAGALING NGAYON si Datu Montawal Mayor Datu Ohto Montawal matapos itong pagbabarilin pasado alas nuebe kagabi sa Roxas Boulevard Service Road, Barangay 4, Pasay City.

Sa report ng Pasay City Police Station, si Mayor Montawal at ang kanyang aide ay sakay ng Toyota Hi-Ace Van nang biglang pagbabarilin ng dalawang mga lalaki at tumakas sa hindi natukoy na direksyon.

Nagtamo ng tama ng bala sa balakang at kaliwang braso si Mayor Montawal.

Napag-alaman na lumahok ang alkalde sa General Assembly ng League of Municipalities of the Philippines o LMP kasama ang kaniyang team.

Nagpapatuloy ang imbestigasyon ng PNP hinggil sa insidente.
