COTABATO CITY - A security instructor from Sagay, Negros Occidental lost his valuables to hold-up men along Makakua Street (now Japal Guiani Sr Street) corner Jose Lim Street, Cotabato Cityon Wednesday dawn.Joel Montaño Jimenez, 54 years old told police he was walking at 3 a.m. along Jose Lim Street when armed men stopped him and declared holdup.The suspects took his P3,000 cash, wallet, mobile phones and other valuables. His jacket was also taken.Meanwhile, alone gunman did a shopping spree byrobbing at 10 a.m. Wednesday a business establishment engaged in CCTV camera installation along Pascual Street cor Sinsuat Avenue, Cotabato City.Store ownerBenru Tacderan told police the suspect barged inside the establishment, poked his gun on the caretaker and fled away with electronic gadgets, two computer laptop, mobile phones, a tablet and other valuables.The man casually boarded a passenger jeep toward the town proper.
