Oblate Fr. Carmelino Lino S. Razon, OMI to be buried today

COTABATO CITY – Fr. Carmelino Lino” S. Razon, OMI will be laid
to rest Wednesday morning after the 9 a.m. funeral mass at the OMI cemetery in
Barangay Tamontaka, Datu Odin Sinsuat, Maguindanao.

Fr. Charlie Inzon, OMI,president of Notre Dame University, will be the presider of the funeral mass at the Our Lady of Lourdes Grotto Shrine Chapel. Fr. Mars Andres, OMI is the homilist.The Oblates community in the Philippines is asking friends,
parishioners, religious and people whom Fr. Lino worked with during his
priestly life to accompany them in sending Fr. Lino to his final resting place.

Described by fellow Oblates as the man who always desires to
serve the poor,” Fr. Lino passed away in his sleep on December 19 at the Oblate
Provincial House in Cotabato City. He was
67 years old.

At the time of his death, Fr. Lino was the chaplain of Notre
Dame Hospital in Cotabato City and lives at the OMI provincial House.

Fr. Eliseo Jun” Mercado, OMI said people would remember Fr.
Razon as kind and understanding Pastor and Chaplain. He was a simple man and he
had always desires to serve the poor.
