PNPand Husband kills wife, gunman kills husband

COTABATO CITY - Police authorities here are puzzled about the alleged killing of a wife by her husband and the killing by unidentified gunman of the suspect.Senior Supt. Rex Anongos, Cotabato City police director, the incident transpired in a house in Purok Bajunaid, Sito Pyo, Barangay Tamontaka 2, Cotabato City on July 11.Abdul Nasser Tasil, son of the victims, told police investigators he first saw his mother, Napisa Tasil, dead with wounds on her neck inside the family owned house at past 7 a.m.Before he saw his lifeless mother, he noticed his father, Sabedra Tasil, uneasy and restless. The son believed the father killed his mother.

This prompted him to run and sought the help of relatives. When he returned at about 8:15 a.m. he and the relativesfound his father dead with gunshot wounds.Initial police investigation in the crime sceneshowed Sabedra was shot dead by still unidentified gunman.

Anongos said while the father was the primary suspect behind the killing of his wife, the police remained clueless as to who killed him and what motivated the killing.
