KIDAPAWAN CITY - A police officer was tagged by residents of Magpet, North Cotabato as the protector of illegal drug dealers and pushers in town, a police officer said. He is now the subject of investigation, Senior Insp. Felix Fornan, Magpet town police chief, told DXND Radyo Bida. Fornan did not identify the police officer but admitted he personally know the suspect since he was a subordinate.

Fornan also admitted there were three villages in Magpet considered hot spot due to the proliferation of illegal drugs.He said suspected shabu proliferating in Magpet villages originated fromMatalam, Kabacan and President Roxas, also in North Cotabato.
