S. Cotabato robbers strike anew, hit Sto Nino coop office , BIR

KORONADAL CITY -- Unidentified armed men robbed the Sto Nino town Municipal Economic Cooperative (SANMECO) and the local Bureau of Internal Revenue Office, police and officials today said.DXOM-AM Radyo Bida reported that police investigators believed the robbery took place before dawnWednesday.Inventory showed the SANMECO lost P27,000 cash to robbers who barged inside the office by destroying its padlock.The robbers tried but failed to destroy the adjacent BIR office safety vault. Earlier, unidentified robbers hit the treasurer's offices of Surallah and Norala towns and carted away hundreds of thousands of cash.Investigation is still going on.
