T'BOLI, South Cotabato - A village councilman here is now behind bars after hearrested for possessing an unlicensed gun in Barangay Aflik here, police said today.Senior Inspector Timothy Arciso,Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) South Cotabato provincial chief, led law enforcers in serving the search warrant for Joan Listam Lintang, 50, village councilman of Barangay Aflik.The warrant was issued byJudge Oscar P. Noel Jr., Presiding Judge of Justice on Wheels, Polomolok, South Cotabato.Lawmen found in Lintang's house an Armscor Cal. 38 pistol with 38 pieces ammunition and five bullets for cal. 45 pistol. He is facing charges for violation of Republic Act 10591 or illegal possession of firearms law.
