Woman from Cotabato City arrested in Koronadal for shabu possession

KORONADAL CITY – A woman from Cotabato City was arrested by anti-narcotics agents here Tuesday during drug buy bust operation, police said.Chief Inspector Ramil Villagracia, chief ofSouth Cotabato Police-Provincial Office Anti-illegal Drugs Special Operations Task Force (SCPPO-PAIDSOTF), identified the suspect as Lenang Ebrahim Adam, 25, married and resident of Tukananes district, Cotabato City. She was arrested in an illegal drug buy bust in Martinez Subdivision, Barangay Zone IV,Koronadal City.Police recovered four large sachets of suspected methamphetamine hydrochloride, more known as shabu and P500 marked money from Adam.Adam admitted to authoritiesthat she was tasked by a friend to bring the stuff to Koronadal City in exchange for P500 cash.She vowed not to carry the same items to Koronadal or anywhere if she can get away with the charges of violatingRepublic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
