KORONADAL CITY - A makeshift walkway in lieu of a fallen Namnama bridge here was destroyed by rampaging river waters following a heavy down pour Wednesday night, reports reaching DXOM-AM Radyo Bida said.The wooden walkway that could also accommodate tricycle with passengers and four-wheel vehicleswas put up by local residentsafter the bridge that connects Barangay Namnama and Barangay Gen. Paulino Santos collapsed in July last year.Koronadal City has been experiencing light to moderate to heavy downpour for the past two days.The rain triggered rising of rive water that washed away part of the wooden walkway.Residents claimed light rain was felt in Barngay Namnama and Gen.
