The colorful avian life in the sanctuary is proof of the local government of Sultan Kudarat’s commitment to preserving the natural beauty and resources of the land.

DAVAO CITY - The province of Misamis Occidental is gearing up for a multi-billion-peso tourism development to premiere the tourism landscape of Northern Mindanao.

Governor Henry Oaminal said the provincial government has pipelined several projects. “We have identified our tourism sites and a multi-billion-peso fund is in the offing in collaboration with national government agencies,” he said.

COTABATO CITY  – About 100 big and small colorfully-decorated motor boats filled the country’s second largest river as the Bangsamoro people re-enacted today the arrival of Islamic missionary Shariff Kabunsuan to spread Islam in the island.

It also capped the weeklong festival to commemorate the arrival in Mindanao some 500 years ago of Arab-Malay missionary Shariff Kabunsuan of Johor who would spread Islam in the region and build the sultanate of Maguindanao.

KORONADAL CITY – The Regional Development Council (RDC-12), the highest socio-economic policy-making body in Region 12, has passed a resolution adopting the 16 Tourism Circuits of SOCCSKSARGEN during its 83rd Regular Meeting here early this month.

These tour circuits were presented by Department of Tourism 12 Regional Director Nelia R. Arina during the 2023 SOX Tourism Summit on September 22, 2023, and thereafter endorsed by the Economic Development Committee for adoption of RDC 12.

COTABATO CITY — The Ministry of Trade, Investments, and Tourism (MTIT) and the Cotabato City Government's Tourism Office are set to jointly spearhead the activities for the upcoming 10-day Shariff Kabunsuan (SK) Festival 2023 from December 12–21, in this city.
 
The SK Festival is an annual occasion celebrated by the Bangsamoro people in mainland Mindanao every December 19, commemorating the arrival of Shariff Mohammad Kabunsuan, an Arab-Malay missionary, along the Rio Grande de Mindanao’s banks to introduce the Islamic faith in the 16th century.

KIDAPAWAN CITY - Nasa dalawampung pribado at pampublikong ahensya ang lumahok sa Fruit Float Parade kahapon para sa culmination program ng Kasadya sa Timpupo 2023.

Magkakaiba ang naging tema ng bawat Float na lahat ay gawa sa prutas at ibang mga produkto mula sa lungsod.

Nagtagisan sa desinyo at nagpasiklaban sa nasabing parada ang mga partisipante para maiuwi ang kampyonato.

LOOK: Ito ang mga kalahok sa ginanap na Fruit Float Parade ngayong umaga sa Kidapawan City.

Magkakaiba ang naging Tema ng bawat Float, na nagpasiklaban sa nasabing parada upang masungkit ang kampyonato.

Itananghal na 3rd placer ang Brgy Linangkob na nag-uwi ng P50,000 pesos,

2nd place naman ang Saniel Cruz National High School na nagkamit ng P75,000.00, Deneklara naman na 1st placer ang fruit float mula sa District 2&8 na tumanggap naman ng P100,000.00 bilang papremyo.
