15 BIFF sumuko sa Cotabato City at BARMM government

DALA ang pitong mga matataas na kalibre ng armas ay nagdesisyon ang 15 dating kasapi ng Bangsamoro Islamic Freedom Fighters-Karialan Faction na sumuko na sa pamahalaan.

Ang pormal na pagsuko ay ginanap kahapon sa Cotabato City na sinaksihan ng PNP, AFP, Maguindanao del Norte Provincial Government at Cotabato City Government.

Ang surrender rites ay ginawa sa Shariff Kabunsuan Cultural Center.

MILF decommissioning on track, Galvez tells senators

MANILA – Presidential Peace Adviser Secretary Carlito Galvez Jr. on Tuesday assured the Senate Committee on National Defense that the ongoing decommissioning of Moro Islamic Liberation Front (MILF) combatants will be finished by 2025.

Galvez made this remark in response to Senator Imee Marcos' concern about a report that only 12,000 of the 40,000 MILF combatants have been decommissioned.

He informed the panel that 26,132 MILF combatants were decommissioned and 4,625 firearms had already been surrendered as of August last year.

Former extremists, rebels embrace transformative journey in Maguindanao del Norte

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte – Six former violent extremists (FVEs) and two former communist rebels (FRs) have embraced a transformative journey as they returned to the folds of the law.

This was formalized during the ceremonial presentation of FVEs and FRs at the 57th Infantry (Masikap) Battalion, Camp Edwards, Barangay Mirab, Upi, Maguindanao del Norte on Monday.

COTABATO CITY - NAGPULONG ANG mga Muslim at Christian religious leaders upang magkaisa at ipahayag ang kanilang pagkundina sa MSU Marawi bombing higit isang buwan na ang nakalipas.

Nagkasundo din sila na isulong ang inter-religious dialogue upang makatulong na labanan ang gawain ng mga terorista.

Sa isang joint statement, sinabi ng mga kasapi ng Bishop Ulama Conference at Darul Ifta na isang demonic act ang pagpatay sa mga sibilyan at religious believers na dapat kundihin ng lahat ng relihiyon sa mundo.

6th ID, JTF Central confiscate 80 FAs in 2 months

CAMP SIONGCO, Maguindanao del Norte – In a span of two months, the Army-led Joint Task Force Central, headed by Maj. Gen. Alex Rillera, has confiscated 80 assorted highpowered firearms in various law enforcement operations in south-central Mindanao region.

Rillera, also commander of 6th Infantry “Kampilan” Division, presented the confiscated firearms to the 4th Quarter Regional Peace and Order Council Meeting of Region 12 in Isulan, Sultan Kudarat.
