Partly cloudy skies, isolated rains to persist over parts of PH

MANILA – The shear line affecting the eastern section of Southern Luzon, the northeast monsoon prevailing over Northern and Central Luzon, and the easterlies are expected to bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers in most parts of the country, the weather bureau said Friday.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said the shear line will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms over Aurora, Quezon, and Camarines Norte.

MANILA – Fairweather and isolated rain showers will prevail over most areas in the country on Tuesday, the weather bureau reported.

"Except for cloud clusters which could cause rains over the eastern sections of Central and Southern Luzon and Mindanao, generally fair weather with isolated rain showers is expected across the country," Rhea Torres of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

She added that no tropical cyclone was seen to develop or enter the Philippine Area of Responsibility.

Fair weather seen across PH Monday

MANILA – Fair weather will prevail over most parts of the country Monday, the weather bureau said.

"The easterlies will cause generally fair weather, although isolated rains are still likely, especially in the eastern section of the country," Obet Badrina of the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said.

No tropical cyclone is expected to develop or enter the country throughout the week, Badrina added.

In its 4 a.m. bulletin on Saturday, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) forecast cloudy skies with light rains over Batanes and Cagayan due to the northeast monsoon.

Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains will prevail over the Ilocos, Cordillera, and Central Luzon regions, along with the rest of Cagayan Valley, also due to the “amihan.”

In its 4 a.m. bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (PAGASA) said Batanes and Babuyan Islands will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains due to "amihan".

Albay, Sorsogon, and Catanduanes will experience cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to easterlies.
