Sharifa Akeel, the first Muslim mutya ng Lebak and Mutya ng Sultan Kudarat and this year's bet to the Asia Pacific International beauty pageant brought home the bacon, so to speak after she was crowned as the queen of the 50-year-old international beauty contest.Akeel was proclaimed the winner at the Resorts World Manilapageant in Pasay City Thursday evening. Miss Brazil's Gabriela Palma was first runner up whileCosta Rica's Melania Gonzales is second runner up.Thirdrunner up wasMisheelt Narmadakh of Mongolia while the fourth runner up is from Venezuela, Mariani Nataly Chacon Angarita.
