COTABATO CITY – Rehabilitation of the
fish section of Cotabato City’s mega market appeared to be turtle-paced as
almost two years have passed yet the project is yet to go full swing.

The Cotabato City Engineering Office
admitted repair works may go full blast early next year yet.

Engr. Samuel Jorolan, city engineer,
said gravel refilling, the first phase of the project, is almost complete but
due to lack of funds, full swing engineering works will start early next year
with the city government appropriates funds thereof.

Fish vendors have been selling outside
the mega market and occupied portion of Martinez Street.

The second phase of the rehabilitation
include flooring and creation of stalls for the fish section.
