COTABATO CITY - An ice cream vendor was shot dead by still unidentified gunman at 10 a.m. Monday in Purok Kalilintad,Barangay Poblacion Mother, Cotabato City, police said today.Another shooting incident also occurred in Barangay Poblacion 1, Cotabato City that killed a former detainee of Police Station 1 lock-up cell for illegal gun possession.Senior Insp. Efren Salazar, police station 1 chief, said the first incident occurred at 10 a.m. that left Norodin Lusogro, 27 of Barangay Limbo, Sultan Kudarat, Maguidnanao.Lusogro was selling ice cream when unidentified man approached him from behind and opened fire using cal. 45 pistol. He was hit in his chest anddied on the spot.About 1 p.m., unidentified gunman shot dead Kempee Ali alias Black Jack, 25 of RS Buan, Barangay Poblacion 1, Cotabato City.Salazar said Ali was standing in front of a hardwareat the corner of Jose Lim St Street and Quezon Avenue when shot. Police recovered empty shells for cal. 45 pistol.Motive of the twin incident remained unknown.
