2 hurt as IED explodes inside passenger van in Davao City
DAVAO CITY - Two persons were hurt when a suspected imrpovised bomb went off inside a passenger van from North Cotabato Wednesday morning, police and Davao City Vice Mayor Paolo Pulong Duterte said. No
one died from the explosion but 2 persons were hurt, including the van conductor, Duterte said. (Other reports say only one was injured).Duterte said the blast occurred at 9:40 a.m. at the rear portion of white Toyota D4D van. He did not identify the injured.Joey Sem Dalumpines, NDBC special correspondent in Davao City identified the wounded van conductor as Alberto Basanes of Pikit.Particularly, the explosion occurred at Ecoland 4000 Residences (at
the back of SM City Ecoland). The Police and TF Davao are
