3 die in 3 Cotabato City shooting incidents, govt employee hurt

COTABATO CITY - Three persons were killed, another wounded in three separate shooting incidents in three areas in the city Wednesday, police said.Ismael Mudi Ulama, an employee of the Commission on Audit in the Autonmous Region in Muslim Mindanao (COA-ARMM) is now fighting for his life after he was shot by still unidentified gunman at 7 p.m. along Satellite Street, Barangay Rosary Heights 8, Cotabato City.Police Station 2 reported that Ulama, process server of COA-ARMM, went to a variety store near his home when a man armed with cal. 45 pistol arrived. He then shot Ulama in the face with the bullet exiting his nape.An hour earlier, a certain Raul Bacero, 50,was shot by still unidentified gunman along Kalye Putol, Quezon Avenue, Cotabato City.Senior Insp. Efren Salazar, Police Station 1 commander, said the man was declared dead on arrival at a hospital due to bullet wounds in the head and body.Salazar said the shooting could be drug related.At past 2 p.m. two unidentified men were killed by gunmen along Salamat Street, Barangay Poblacion Mother, Cotabato City.Salazar said the victims remained unidentified to date.Based on police description, the victims, between 30-35 years old, both wearing black jackets and cargo pants. They werewalking along SK Pendatun Extension when shot.Police also believed it has something to do with illegal drugs.
