Another IED explodes in Cotabato City

COTABATO CITY - Hours after an improvised bomb was lobbed inside a videoke bar along Sinsuat Avenue in Cotabato City on Monday night, another improvised bomb was set off by still unidentified men along Sinsuat Avenue at 11:40 a.m. Tuesday.The IED, fashioned from black powder and other improvised bomb ingredients was left at a waiting shed along Sinsuat Avenue, particularly in between Macapagal and Pansacala Streets, police said.Nobody was hurt in the blast but it partially damaged the waiting shed made of iron and metals.bomb experts recovered deformed iron bars, cut concrete nails, black powder in a plastic container. The triggering device remained unknown.Police are still investigating.On Tuesday night, at 8:45 p.m. two men riding tandem on a motorbike hurled an IED fashioned from M-203 rifle grenade inside the Kulolot's videoke bar. Nobody was hurt.
