Cotabato City councilor asks NBI to file charges vs. Aug. 5 bombers

COTABATO CITY - Councilor Graham Nasser Dumama has filed a resolution to the Sangguniang Panglungsod urging the National Bureau of Investigation to file charges against the persons behind the August 5, 2013 bombing along Sinsuat Avenue that left eight persons dead and wounded more than 30 others.Dumama, SP majority floor leader, said his resolution aims to urge NBI to gather more evidences so charges could be filed against the perpetrators so justice could be served.He said he thought results would come out a month after the blood incident but nothing happened in the last two years.Dumama said the NBI claimed it has leads on the identities of the suspects but nothing has come out since.Police said the blast which occurred along Sinsuat Avenue near Gov. Gutierrez Avenue was aimed against Cotabato City Administrator Cynthia Guiani-Sayadi. She was unharmed but her two escorts were killed and six others.
