BANGA, South Cotabato - Despite repeated reminders from village officials for drug personalities to cease from engaging in illegal activities, drug personalities continue their illegal acts.One of them was Eugene Magbanua of Barangay Improgo (Poblacion), Banga, South Cotabato who was arrested during police anti-illegal drug operation at past midnight Saturday.Chief Inspector Jardi Mont Sibal, Banga town police chief, said four sachets of shabu, scissor and parahernalia, including the P500 marked money, were seized from Magbanua.Fermin Dorego, village chair of Barangay Improgo, told Radyo Bida Koronadal that Magbanua and others have been reminded and told to do away with illegal drugs or face the full force of the law. Magbanua ignored the call.At least five villages of Banga, out of 22 barangays, have been cleared of illegal drug personalities, police said.
