KORONADAL CITY - Village Councilor Ruben Tano of Barangay Sta Cruz in this city has assumed as village chair and vowed to work hard for the sake of villagers and good governance.Tano replacedChairperson Julius Bignayan who was dismissed by the office of the Ombudsman after he was found guilty of grave misconduct in a case filed by Tano and other village officials. Also dismissed was Juvie Bocol, barangay secretary.After assuming responsibility, Tano immediately buckled down to work andmet with the village council.A villager told Radyo Bida Koronadal that the case of Sta Cruz government should served as a lesson to other local officials who are corrupt.
