Man stabs to death live-in partner in South Cotabato

KORONADAL City – Following a marital argument, aman on Thursdaystabbed to death his live-in partner in Barangay Panay, Sto. Nino, South Cotabato, police said.Police Chief Inspector Joel Fuerte, Sto. Nino police chief,identified the victim as Joy Dela Cruz, 40, a resident of Barangay Panay. The suspect was Jerry Condino.Investigation of Sto. Nino PNP revealed that before the stabbing incident, Dela Cruz and Condino had an argument over their personal problem. Condino used a bladed weapon in stabbing Dela Cruz. Heimmediately fled with his motorcycle as a getaway vehicle after committing crime.Sto. Nino PNP is now conducting follow-up operation for the possible apprehension of the suspect.
