NorCot health services to improve as hospitals get 7 ambulance vehicles

CITY – Health and medical services in North Cotabato hospitals
get a big boost with the arrival of seven brand new ambulance vechiles from the provincial
government, health officials here said Tuesday. Dr.
Eva Rabaya, North Cotabato health chief and head of the Integrated Provincial
Health Office (IPHO), said the new health emergency facilities cost Php1.4
million provided by the provincial government. She
said one of the seven ambulance vehicles was won by North Cotabato Gov. Emmylou
Mendoza in the raffle draw by World Relief Mission (WRM) during its foundation
anniversary last year. ”These
vehicles will be distributed to seven hospitals in the province so it can save
more lives,” Rabaya said in a statement. The
North Cotabato provincial hospital, Mlang district hospital, Arakan Valley
District hospital, Amado Diaz Memorial Hospital, Aleosan district hospital, New Cebu district hospital in President Roxas and Tulio Favali district hospital in
Tulunan, North Cotabato will receive one unit. With
the new ambulance, Rabaya said, patients that needed more medical attention in
other areas may be transported as soon as possible.
