Police official, woman die in yet another highway mishap in South Cotabato

KORONADAL CITY - A police official and a lady radiology technicianwere killed in yet another highway mishap along the national highway in South Cotabato before dawnMonday, police said.Police Inspector Rommel Hitalia, deputy police chief of Tantangan, South Cotabato, identified the victims as Inspector Donald Mangune, 29 of Cubao, Quezon City and assigned at the Sultan Kudarat Public Safety Battalion (SKPPSB), and a woman named Haivah Musali of Datu Paglas, Maguindanao.Both died on the spot. sand//scontent.fmnl4-1.fna.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0-9/13100758_959377984169011_8210941619602315820_n.jpg?oh=4ef1f462e0951c5ef0f1335c7abeca8eandampoe=57ABF59F Mangune is a graduate of Philippine National Police Academy (PNPA).Hitalia said another police officer, identified as PO3 John Caminian, 33, also of SK-PPSB, was injured and is recuperating at a hospital in Tacurong City.Police traffic investigation showed that the victims were on board a Silver Mitsubishi Lancer (ZFG-153), driven by Mangune, heading to Tacurong City from Koronadal, when one of its front tires exploded causing the car to turned turtle before hitting a lamp post and a coconut tree at 1:30 a.m.Supt.
