Second fire hits Koronadal City

KORONADAL CITY - An electric fan left unattended could have triggered a fire thatgutted down a house in Agreda subdivision here Friday afternoon, damaging more than P500,000 worth of properties, officials said.Nobody was in the house of retired SPO4 Elvis Amoloria when the fire struck at about 5:30 p.m., according to Senior Inspector Reginald Legaste, Koronadal City fire chief.Legaste told DXOM-AM Radyo Bida a neighbor alerted the fire office about the fire and his team quickly responded, declaring fire out within 30 minutes of firefighting.Arson investigators said an electric fan may haveoverheated and triggered the fire. Nobody was in the house at the time of the conflagration.Nobody was hurt in the fire, the second to hit the city in two days.On Wednesday, a fire destroyed an ancestral home at the corner of Dizon Street and Balmores Street at 4 a.m. and killed one person.
