Sunny weather for the 1st weekend of 2015

MANILA - Two weather systems continue to affect the country. The tail end of a cold front will bring light to moderate rain showers and thunderstorms over Eastern Visayas, CARAGA and the region of Davao, while thenortheast monsoon is still affecting Luzon. Expect cloudy skies with light rains in Cagayan Valley, Cordillera, the Bicol Region and CALABARZON. Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will have isolated light rains and the rest of the country will experience isolated rains and thunderstorms.PAGASA Weather Forecaster Jori Loiz confirmed that lower temperature will be felt in the coming days. Significant drops in temperature usually fall on the months of January and February, the peak of the northeast monsoon.
