Suspected carnapper die in shootout with Tacurong PNP
KORONADAL CITY - A man who police saidjust carnapped a motorcyclewas killed in a shoot out in Tacurong City Sultan Kudarat, Wednesday evening, police said today. Superintendent Junny Buenacusa, Tacurong City police chief, said policemen were forced to fight back after the two suspects flagged down in a road checkpoint fired at lawmen. The suspect,Suhod Saliling, was found dead in a road siderice field due to multiple gunshot wounds after trading shots with policemen in BarangaySan Rafael in Tacurong City. His companion, a certain Madi Sakilinan, eluded arrest after hefled to a forested area in the boundary of San Rafael and the municipality of SK Pendatun, Maguindanao. We identified the suspects based on documents we have discovered from Saliling,” Buenacusa told DXOM FM Koronadal City Friday.
