Tacurong City launches Negosyo Center
TACURONG CITY –- Business leaders, political and trade and industry officials here have
launched the Tacurong City Negosyo Center as the city has been emerging as
business hub of Sultan Kudarat, officials said today.
I’m glad that we now
have a Negosyo Center because Tacurong City is considered as the business hub
of Sultan Kudarat,” Tacurong City Mayor Lina Montilla said during the
launching.
This will ease the
process of accommodating investments in our city,” she added.
Present to witness
the launching were City Councilor Rodrigo Jamorabon, Alberto Sero of Tacurong
interior and local government office, Police Supt Junny Buenacosa, Martin Tee,
representative of Tacurong City Chamber of Commerce, DTI representatives, and
owners of premier business establishments in the city.
Located beside the
Tacurong City Sports and Cultural Center, the Negosyo Center is a public
facility that was established to promote ease of doing business and facilitate
access to services for micro, small, and medium enterprises (MSMEs).
Montilla said it will
serve as a one-stop shop business center for all existing and incoming
businesses in the city where processing will only take two steps.
According to Montilla,
the goal, if possible, is to eventually offer the services of the business
center for free.
The construction of
the state-of-the-art Negosyo Center is in progress and nearing completion. But
according to DTI-Tacurong, the facilities and equipment have all been procured
and ready to be deployed once construction is finished.
It will start full operation
this month.
