Results of cadastal survey alarms Maguindanao execs, says DENR-ARMM

Many mayors called me up asking for the results of the cadastal survey, DENR-ARMM Regional Secretary Kahal Kedtag told DXMS Radyo Bida. They were alarmed that the town's political boundaries might have been reduced as a result of the survey and that it will affect the internal revenue allotment, Kedtag said in Filipino. However, he said, the results cannot be released as of yet because his office is yet to meet with the representatives of the Department of Interior and Local Governments and other concerned government agencies.Kedtag stressed that the cadastal survey will never be a basis of IRA allocation.
