Alamada farmer kills man using soft drink bottle

ALAMADA, North Cotabato - A man who admitted hitting another man with a bottle that led to his death voluntarily surrendered to police authorities here.Lagandi Lumugdang, 33 of Barangay Dado, Alamada, North Cotabato showed up at the police station and turned himself in a day after he hit Emilio Lumandas, 40, with an empty soft drink bottle.Lumandas died due to serious head injuries minutes after the incident that occurred in Sitio Veterans, Barangay Dado, Alamada.While in police lock up cell,Lumugdang remained tight lip why he attack Lumandas.Police will file murder charges against the suspect once investigation is completed.
