Tacurong is 32nd most competitive city

TACURONG CITY - The
City of Tacurong is the 32nd Most Competitive Component City in the
Philippines, according to the 2015 Cities and Municipalities Competitiveness
Index (CMCI).

Tacurong
also placed 17th in Government Efficiency 33rd place in
Economic Dynamism and 60th place in Infrastructure.

As
such, Mayor Lina O. Montilla received the award during the Awarding Ceremony
for the Top 50-ranking LGUs in Region XII on 28 September 2015 in Greenleaf
Hotel, General Santos City.

According
to the Regional Competitiveness Coordinating Committee (RC3), sixteen out of
the fifty LGUs in Region XII that participated in CMCI 2015 were able to make
it to the Top 50 rankings in their respective categories.

Tacurong,
included in the said 16 LGUs, was also among the thirteen who made it in the
last year’s CMCI.

stated Montilla.
